SOCK DRIVE SEASON is here (actually the homeless need new socks year round).

In a survey The Joy of Sox® conducted in Denver they found that new socks are the number one item asked for at shelters.  And since they they walk everyplace and tend to wear them 24/7 socks on homeless feet wear out very quickly.

As Kiwi, a homeless person in Toronto so graphically tells us:

“Sometimes socks are more important than bringing people food”

So … parents, students, employees, employers, boy scouts, girl scouts, sports teams, fraternities, sororities, Facebook friends, in other words – everybodyplease consider conducting a sock drive between now and the end of the year.

And it doesn’t matter where you are as there are homeless shelters in every state (other countries too).

For specific info please see How to conduct a sock drive  AND send an email to The Joy of Sox or call 610-688-3318 so we can answer any questions, send you a certificate and include you on our growing list of Sock Angles across the country.

Thanks so much for your continued support!!
