Socks Delivered to Bethesda Project

144 pairs of socks for the homeless delivered by The Joy of Sox

On the eve of a snow storm in Philadelphia 144 pairs of socks for the homeless were delivered to My Brother’s Place, a homeless shelter of the Bethesda Project.

According to their website the Bethesda Project provides, “Emergency shelter and supportive services for over 300 of the city’s most vulnerable homeless population, providing shelter for 150 men each night as well as a day program for 200 men.”

And a special thanks to Clare for reaching out to us for socks.

We are also planned a collaborative partnership with the YouthBuild Charter School. More on this later.
