It is so wonderful that people all over the United States are continuing to embrace the mission of helping provide socks for the homeless.
Ed Ablard, who is very active in the Meade Memorial Episcopal Church asked if we wanted a Chapter in the Alexandria, VA area.
Of course we said “Yes!”
Ed Ablard and Dr. Ed Pozarny, a noted Podiatrist, will be the “Regional Sock People” and will coordinate the collection and distribution of socks for the homeless. Ed (not Dr. Ed) will be getting a case of socks, brochures and t-shirts to get started.
We’ll keep you posted on the activities in and around Alexandria.
