The Joy of Sox® recently consolidated all its inventory of new socks into one location in King of Prussia, PA. The nonprofit, who gives new socks to the homeless, needed the additional space to store their sock donations and the boxes of socks that volunteers put together ready for distribution to shelters.
Tom Costello, Jr, Chief Sock Person & Founder said, “This space is great. It has easy access and will allow for a more efficient collection and distribution of socks.” He also wanted to, “Thank all the volunteers, especially the ones from Cabrini University who helped bring about 4,000 pairs from the school.”
Last year The Joy of Sox donated 33,484 new pairs of socks to the homeless. This year they project donating over 40,000 pairs .
