August 2017 Newsletter – The Joy of Sox providing joy to the homeless with new socks

The August 2017 newsletter for The Joy of Sox® has been published and features four short sections about how they are providing new socks for the homeless.

The first section of “What’s Goin’ On” talks about their global impact – they recently handed out socks on the streets on London, UK.

The next section talks about sock distributions on the west coast (Anaheim, CA) and east coast (Cambridge, MA).  The west coast “sock pass out” was coordinated by a student from Villanova University, and the east coast event by a team from Harvard University.

The last two sections deal with events closer to their suburban Philadelphia location.  One is a sock drive by a local Catholic school, St. Joseph, Downingtown, PA.  The other is a woman’s church supper where Tom Costello Jr, Chief Sock Person & Founder, was asked to speak.

If you’re interested in subscribing to the newsletter you’ll find a “join email list” button on the top of the newsletter page.
